Introduction
Anti-Racism Movement (ARM) is a local NGO established in 2011 by a group of local activists who work together with migrant workers to secure social, economic, and gender justice for all migrant workers and racialized groups in Lebanon. We work for a just society where all migrants enjoy decent living and working conditions.
Project:
The idea of the archival exhibition was born from the desire to create a truly immersive experience for its audience. The primary focus of the exhibition is to educate and inform people about the history of the Kafala system and of ARM and the Migrant Community Center through a comprehensive and visually compelling timeline. The aim of this exhibition is to highlight the oppressive nature of the Kafala system and to showcase the resistance and efforts of migrant workers in their fight against this system.
