About ARM
Anti-Racism Movement (ARM) is a non-governmental organization working to dismantle systemic racism and achieve social, economic, and gender justice for migrant workers and racialized groups in Lebanon since 2011. Migrant Community Center (MCC) is a safer space for migrants living under Kafala. MCC works with migrant domestic workers to improve their living and working conditions and build their capacities to self-advocate for their rights as agents and leaders of change. Its programs include community-building, capacity-building, psychosocial wellbeing, community-led initiatives, and advocacy.
Job Purpose
The Logistics & Procurement Manager will oversee the procurement & logistics processes & space management from start to finish, ensuring that the organization obtains the goods and services it needs at the best possible value in a well functioning space.
Areas of Contribution & Related Accountabilities
The jobholder’s responsibilities include:
Procurement
- Develop and implement procurement policies and procedures that align with the organization's values and mission, while complying with relevant laws and regulations.
- Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their products and services.
- Develop and manage supplier relationships, negotiating contracts and prices, and ensuring timely delivery of goods and services.
- Collaborate with the Accounting department to ensure accurate tracking of procurement expenses and compliance with budgetary requirements.
- Ensure the quality of goods upon delivery complies with the requirements submitted to the supplier.
- Prepare supplier contracts and purchase orders and submit for CD’s approval.
- Source in-kind donations where possible.
Logistics
- Develop and implement logistics policies and procedures that prioritize the safety, comfort, and convenience of staff and partners while minimizing costs and environmental impact.
- Develop and maintain relationships with relevant service providers, such as daily workers, consultants and maintenance companies, etc.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations governing logistics.
- Prepare and manage contracts in coordination ensuring compliance and validation by CD.
- Take care of logistical needs of staff (e.g. taxi services, supermarket) and events (e.g. hiring bus, booking a space, preparing the space before the event…)
Management and Leadership
- Recruit, train, and manage a team of logistics and procurement professionals, ensuring that they have the skills and resources they need to perform their roles effectively.
- Provide ongoing coaching and feedback to team & staff members, promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment, in which team members are valued, respected, and supported in their professional development.
- Participate in the development of the organization's strategic plans and goals, and contribute to the achievement of those goals through effective logistics and procurement management.
- Lead on office management and organizing by supervising the space coordinator
Reporting & Security
- Share regular updates with the team on the overall security situation through the creation of an information network and continuous information collection from different sources.
- Submit the monthly logistics report.
- Maintain and update a list of suppliers and their qualifications, delivery times, and potential future development.
- Maintain proper filing and records for all procurement processes, purchase orders and all correspondences relating to the procurements.
Accounting & Human Resources
- Submit procurement documents, contracts and invoices for payment processing.
- Ensure accountability, transparency and due diligence as per ARM Principles and Code of Conduct.
Communications & Work Relationships
Internal Communication
- Regular contact with Co-directors

- Regular contact with suppliers of goods and services
- Regular contact with the landlord
Framework, Boundaries, and Decision Making Authority
The jobholder has the authority to make informed decisions on possible solutions and take necessary actions, in consultation with the co-director
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Commitment to the values and mission of ARM, including a deep understanding of feminist principles and willingness to learn.
- Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in logistics and procurement management, with demonstrated success in leading teams and managing complex procurement and logistics operations.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations governing logistics and procurement, and ability to ensure compliance with those requirements.
- Excellent command of written and spoken Arabic & English.
- Excellent Microsoft Office Skills, especially Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
- Accurate and precise attention to detail.
- Ability to work well with management and staff at all levels.
- Goal-oriented, organized team player.
