About ARM
Anti-Racism Movement (ARM) is a non-governmental organization working to dismantle systemic racism and achieve social, economic, and gender justice for migrant workers and racialized groups in Lebanon since 2011. ARM envisions a just society where all migrants enjoy decent living and working conditions with a mission to achieve social, economic and gender justice for all migrant workers and racialized groups in Lebanon. The Migrant Community Center (MCC) is a safer space for migrants living under Kafala. MCC works with migrant domestic workers to improve their living and working conditions and build their capacities to self-advocate for their rights as agents and leaders of change. Its programs include community-building, capacity-building, psychosocial wellbeing, community-led initiatives, and advocacy.
Job Purpose
Strengthening the organization’s funding sustainability through grants management and diversified fundraising, in close coordination with program and finance teams. The role contributes to proposal development, reporting, funding strategy, donor relationships, and grant-related systems, including the development of tools and processes that can be shared with allies and migrant communities to increase access to resources. The scope of responsibilities will vary based on experience and organizational needs.

The jobholder's responsibilities include but are not limited to the following tasks:
Grants & Fundraising
Proposals: Contributing to the drafting, reviewing, and submission of funding proposals in coordination with Programs, MEAL, and Finance teams.
Donor reporting: Coordinating inputs, drafting and/or reviewing donor reports, and supporting timely submissions and follow-up with donors as needed. In addition to ad hoc inquiries and requests (presentations, meetings, and updates).
Funding research: Identifying and tracking relevant donor and non-donor funding opportunities aligned with ARM’s priorities.
Funding coordination: Supporting the planning, tracking, and monitoring of funding needs, grant timelines, and spending in coordination with Finance and Programs.
Information management: Maintaining and updating grant-related documentation, databases, and internal tracking tools to ensure accurate and accessible information.
Funding Strategy & Relationships
CContributing to the design, updating, and implementation of donor and non-donor funding strategies, in line with ARM’s priorities and capacities.
Supporting efforts to diversify funding sources, including institutional donors, private donors, and alternative funding streams.
Building and maintaining positive working relationships with donors and relevant external stakeholders, as appropriate to the role and level of experience.
Internal Support & Capacity Building
Providing ad hoc support to the Programs Director on fundraising- and grants-related needs.
Contributing to or facilitating capacity-building sessions or workshops related to fundraising, grant management, or donor compliance, depending on experience.
Supporting cross-team coordination to ensure alignment between programmatic priorities, funding requirements, and reporting obligations.
Communication & Work Relationships
Internal Communication
Regular contact with the Programs Director, Programs team, and Finance
Occasional contact with other Directors and ARM Managers.
Regular Contact with MEAL/reporting focal points within each team.
External Communication
Contact with donors, funders, and partners as required
Framework, Boundaries, and Decision Making Authority
The jobholder collaborates closely with the Programs Director while exercising autonomy and responsibility appropriate to their experience. The scope for strategic leadership, independent decision-making, and oversight may evolve based on the skills and strengths of the selected candidate.
Qualifications
Education
University degree in Social Sciences, Development Studies, Media/Communications or a related field and
Experience required
Minimum 3 years in grants management; scope and seniority of responsibilities will align with demonstrated expertise.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Technical Skills:
Excellent written and verbal communication in English (Arabic and French also assets), adapting to different registers and contexts as needed.
Extensive experience in writing detailed project plans and/or proposals is required. Experience in writing or research in related fields will also be considered.
Experience in programmatic strategy, creating, editing and amending various Theory of Change models and logical frameworks.
Knowledge and understanding of migration and the situation of migrant workers in Lebanon.
Knowledge and understanding of anti-racist and feminist approaches/theories a significant asset.
Good Microsoft Office & online research skills.

Salary range:
2,300 - 3,300 based on the candidate’s profile
